Risk, compliance & security
Defined roles. Controlled access. Sponsor-led settlement.
Our approach separates the merchant-facing technology layer from the regulated acquiring, underwriting and settlement responsibilities of the sponsor/acquirer.
Merchant & transaction controls
Structured review and escalation.
The control framework is aligned with the programme, relevant market and sponsor requirements. Operational responsibilities are documented in the applicable agreements.
- Corporate, director and beneficial-owner information.
- Sponsor-approved KYB/KYC, sanctions, PEP and adverse-media workflows.
- Accepted, restricted and prohibited merchant categories.
- Website, product, fulfilment, volume and transaction-profile review.
- Complaint, refund, chargeback and incident escalation.
- Final merchant approval retained by the sponsor/acquirer.
Funds flow
Direct settlement. No Livitpay custody.
The Livitpay model keeps end-user funds and merchant settlement proceeds with the sponsor/acquirer. The sponsor/acquirer settles approved proceeds directly to the merchant’s verified bank account. Livitpay does not hold these funds and receives only its own agreed platform or service fees separately.
Confirms a card-not-present payment.
Transmits the tokenized payment instruction.
Process and clear the transaction.
Receives direct sponsor/acquirer settlement.
Security principles
