What this notice covers
This notice covers the public website, business enquiries, merchant enquiries and partnership discussions. A separate service-specific notice and contractual information are provided where required before collecting onboarding documentation or processing payment information.
Information we collect
You may provide your name, job title, business email, company name, website, country, business description, expected card volumes, customer markets and partnership requirements. We also receive correspondence and information you choose to include in a message. Technical data can include IP address, browser/request information, security events and website preferences.
Do not send card numbers, card verification codes, passwords, identity documents or sensitive personal information through the enquiry forms. No payment-card fields or document uploads are provided.
Purposes and legal bases
We use enquiry information to respond, assess business fit, arrange requested discussions and maintain business correspondence. The usual legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business contacts and assessing relevant business opportunities; steps at your request before entering a contract may also apply. Security and abuse prevention are based on legitimate interests. Legal obligations apply where records must be retained or disclosed by law. Optional measurement preferences rely on consent and can be withdrawn.
The privacy acknowledgement on a form records that you have read this notice and agree to be contacted about your enquiry. It does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. Merchant-enquiry information is used for relevant programme follow-up; ask us to stop at any time.
Who receives information?
Access is limited to authorized Livitpay personnel and contracted service providers supporting hosting, email, IT security and technical maintenance. We may disclose information to professional advisers or authorities where required or justified by law. We do not sell enquiry data. An enquiry is not automatically shared with an acquirer or treated as a merchant application; relevant sharing and onboarding disclosures will be explained before that step.
Locations and international transfers
Livitpay is incorporated in the United Kingdom. Authorized personnel and contracted providers may handle enquiries and technical support from locations outside the United Kingdom. The website is hosted on a Contabo server in France. Business email uses Microsoft Exchange. Email processing locations depend on the mailbox-hosting arrangement. Contact us for details. Technical service providers in India may support development or maintenance; access to personal data, where necessary, must be limited and governed by the relevant service agreement. Where UK or EEA data is transferred internationally, we use an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards, such as EU standard contractual clauses and the relevant UK addendum or transfer agreement, as required. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
Retention
Our website-enquiry policy is to review open enquiries and merchant-enquiry records at least annually and delete or anonymize them no later than 12 months after the last meaningful contact unless the discussion continues, a contract is established or a longer period is required to address a complaint or legal obligation. Business or contractual records follow the applicable retention schedule. Website security logs are intended to be retained for no more than 30 days unless an incident requires preservation. Cookie preferences expire after six months; enquiry session data expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Email and backup copies are removed through the applicable provider’s retention and deletion processes.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us using the details above; we may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We do not use these enquiry forms to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Complaints and security
You can raise a privacy concern with Livitpay and may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or another competent supervisory authority where applicable. We use proportionate technical and organizational measures; no method of transmission or storage is absolutely secure.
